My wife, Jenn, did a GREAT job decorating our porch for Fall.  Pumpkins, hay bales, the whole nine yards.  My part of the deal was to get our yard looking good.  I called Lane with Xtreme Lawn Service and his crew worked in the yard all day.

When the yard was finished, I walk outside, barefoot, to settle up and pay the guys.  As I turned around, this mighty viper was cocked and ready.  I had stepped over him on my way out the door!  He was curled up on our doormat and was very serious about being messed with.  I had no choice but to grab a shovel and take matters into my own hands.

  I have a wife and little girl that could walk out the front door at anytime!  He jumped and struck until I finally brought our fight to an end.

I guess he had made his home in our new Fall decorations on the porch.  Am I lucky or what?  I could have stepped on him as I walked out on the porch!  I still shiver when I think about it.-Dr. Shane
