In the 41 years that Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom has been open in Orlando, it's had a STRICT zero-alcohol policy. They've forced countless people to have fun with their families WITHOUT being able to take the edge off with 13 beers. And that ain't right.
--So you'll be thrilled to know that, as of November, you'll finally be able to have a few drinks when you're at Disney World's Magic Kingdom.
(--Other Disney World parks like Animal Kingdom and Epcot already sell alcohol.)
--A new "Beauty and the Beast"-themed restaurant called Be Our Guest is opening in November and will serve beer and wine during dinner.--A Disney spokeswoman says the restaurant will serve French cuisine and, quote, "You cannot walk into a French restaurant and not get a glass of wine or beer. It made more sense to do it than not to do it."
--You won't be able to take any beer or wine to-go from the restaurant, and there's no word on what they'll be charging for the alcohol.
