Police in Queens, New York just busted a surprisingly large criminal organization that was trying to get rich, 1.5 ounces of Bailey's Irish Cream at a time.

--On Wednesday, 18 employees at JFK Airport were arrested for working together to steal more than 100,000 mini bottles of liquor.  All of them were truck drivers for Sky Chef, which provided food and beverage services for American Airlines.

--For at least the past year, they had a scam where they'd take unused liquor off flights at JFK and put it in garbage bags, rather than return it to a warehouse.  They paid off three security guards to let them leave with those bags.--Then they'd sell the bottles cheap . . . 55 cents for Bailey's and $1.25 for Courvoisier.  Sometimes they'd sell to friends, sometimes they'd sell to liquor fencers. --Very roughly doing the math, they've pulled in at least a few hundred thousand dollars.

--The Port Authority got tipped off about what was going on earlier this year and ran an undercover investigation.  After they got enough evidence, they busted the whole thing.  All of the defendants are facing several charges, from bribery to larceny.
