Justin Moore, who's been criss-crossing the country on tour the last few years, told Southern Living about his 10 favorite places to play.
1. Electric Cowboy Little Rock, Arkansas
“First off, it’s 40 minutes from my hometown. Second, I played there the day my first album came out. Those are tough memories to beat.”
2. Boots and Buckles Saloon Lakeland, Florida
“Great small venue for a new artist. One of the first sellouts of my career took place here.”
3. Coyote Joe’s Charlotte, North Carolina
“Love this place! A step up in size from the earliest of places I played. Holds around 2500 and is a downright party every time you’re there.”
4. Blindhorse Saloon Greenville, South Carolina
“A great space for rowdy rednecks in South Carolina. Always a fun crowd.”
5. Cotton Eyed Joe Knoxville, Tennessee
“The last time I played here, we broke beer sales record. Need I say more?”
6. Verizon Arena Little Rock, Arkansas
“I watched so many shows here growing up. One of the coolest moments of my career was actually getting to play Verizon Arena.”
7. Rupp Arena Lexington, Kentucky
“I love Kentucky -- the state has been good to us. I’m also a big SEC basketball fan. To get to perform at the home of the Wildcats where so many incredible games have been played was an unforgettable experience.”
8. Ryman Auditorium Nashville, Tennessee
“The original home of the Grand Ole Opry. The Ryman is so rich in history. And it’s amazing, sound-wise.”
9. Mississippi Coast Coliseum Biloxi, Mississippi
“I love the fans in Mississippi. I love playing at the beach. Plus, I first played here with Lynyrd Skynyrd.”
10. Kearney Amphitheater Kearney, Missouri
“I have played this amazing outdoor venue for the past three years. The crowd is always awesome, and performing lakeside is the best. There are also some great golf courses nearby. A nice perk when you’re on the road.”
