I grew up on a horse farm in Atlanta, Georgia! My parents and Sister own and operate Ward Stables located north of Atlanta, one of the top American Saddlebred Training facilities in the Southeast!
Graduated from Colonial Hills Christian High School in 1986, Jefferson State College in 1990, and Auburn University in 1992.
I'm a huge Atlanta Braves fan, and adopted the Pittsburgh Steelers as my Pro football team when I got married. I began my radio career while attending college, with my first job in radio as a sportscaster at Auburn University. (I bleed Orange and Blue! Go Tigers!)
I spend my free time playing with my Grandson Rydan, and hanging out with my husband whenever we aren't both working.
I enjoy family & friends, Caribbean vacations as often as possible. Racing & horses. Christian faith. I love to help others through volunteerism:
1) Victory Junction Camp
2) Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
3) March of Dimes
4) Make-a-Wish foundation
5) American Red Cross
6) Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
7) Second Harvest Food Bank
8) Ronald McDonald House
Brad Paisley is gonna take a turn on the ABC drama Nashville when he shoots his guest-starring role for the season finale.
Wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley plays Teddy Conrad’s mistress Peggy Kenter, and Brad says he's been reluctant to be on the show: “It’s a little odd, having Kim on there playing somebody else… It’s really good, but it’s disturbing to me, too close to what I do. It’s like if I was in the CIA, I don’t know if I’d watch Homeland.”
Reluctance aside, Brad Paisley says he’s optimistic about the opportunity to play a small part in Music City’s burgeoning TV and film industry. “I know Nicole Kidman is doing her part too. She’s made a couple of movies shoot in Nashville that they weren’t going to, which is great to see. We could use more of that.”
