I grew up on a horse farm in Atlanta, Georgia! My parents and Sister own and operate Ward Stables located north of Atlanta, one of the top American Saddlebred Training facilities in the Southeast!
Graduated from Colonial Hills Christian High School in 1986, Jefferson State College in 1990, and Auburn University in 1992.
I'm a huge Atlanta Braves fan, and adopted the Pittsburgh Steelers as my Pro football team when I got married. I began my radio career while attending college, with my first job in radio as a sportscaster at Auburn University. (I bleed Orange and Blue! Go Tigers!)
I spend my free time playing with my Grandson Rydan, and hanging out with my husband whenever we aren't both working.
I enjoy family & friends, Caribbean vacations as often as possible. Racing & horses. Christian faith. I love to help others through volunteerism:
1) Victory Junction Camp
2) Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
3) March of Dimes
4) Make-a-Wish foundation
5) American Red Cross
6) Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

In a story from USA Today, Associated Press photographer Jessica Hill snapped a tremendous picture of Connecticut women's basketball coach Geno Auriemma grabbing the rear end of Baylor coach Kim Mulkey before Monday night's showdown between the college powerhouses.
Rich Elliot of the Connecticut Post noticed the exchange and asked Auriemma about it after UConn's 76-70 loss. Here's what he said:
"She was staring at my butt and she was commenting on it and I said, 'Really? How about yours?' and she went, `Yeah, look at it,' and I went (slap), I'll teach you a lesson. And then she started talking about how she only dated Italians her whole life and that she wanted me to set her up with some Italians and I said, `The Italians I send to see you aren't going to date you.' We've had a long and great relationship since, gosh, she was an assistant at Louisiana Tech. It goes back a long ways.
"She's just a big pain in the butt. That's all there is to it.''
