I was the CMA Large Market Broadcast personality of the Year in 2000, and the Country Radio Broadcasters Large Market Broadcast personality of the Year in 2001.
I grew up on a horse farm in Atlanta, Georgia! My parents and Sister own and operate Ward Stables located north of Atlanta, one of the top American Saddlebred Training facilities in the Southeast!
Graduated from Colonial Hills Christian High School in 1986, Jefferson State College in 1990, and Auburn University in 1992.
I'm a huge Atlanta Braves fan, and adopted the Pittsburgh Steelers as my Pro football team when I got married. I began my radio career while attending college, with my first job in radio as a sportscaster at Auburn University. (I bleed Orange and Blue! Go Tigers!)
I spend my free time playing with my Grandson Rydan, and hanging out with my husband whenever we aren't both working.

Police have released this pretty impressive pic of Alicia Guastaferro, who appeared on Wife Swap in 2008 (her parents did the swapping) and was busted on Monday in Pembroke, N.Y., for prostitution.
According to authorities, the 20-year-old was in a car with 54-year-old James D. Doyle, who was pulled over and subsequently arrested for DUI, providing alcohol to a person under 21 and patronizing a prostitute.
Hope I look that good if I ever get arrested!
